ZTE Axon 30 to be launched with 2nd-generation under-display camera on July 22

ZTE Axon 30 to come with a 2nd generation under-display camera. ZTE was the first company to launch a phone with an under-display camera last year and it will be exciting to see the improvements over the first one. Just last week, Chinese display manufacturer Visionnox teased its 2nd gen under-display camera and is expected to debut on the ZTE Axon 30.

According to a tipster on Weibo, the phone could be announced on July 22. Plus ZTE President Ni Fei disclosed that the company is looking to launch a new device next month in a video.

We can not only expect to see under-display cameras going mainstream this year but the better version of the tech. After the launch of the first-ever phone with the under-display camera last year, Major tech giants like Samsung and Xiaomi are expected to announce their own version of the under-display camera in their flagships this year.

ZTE launched Axon 30 Pro and Axon 30 Ultra with punch hole displays in April this year, which leaves Axon 30 to be a valid option to carry 2nd gen under-display camera as it is the successor of last year's Axon 20 which carried first-generation under-display camera.
